Boron is considered to be an essential element. However, its physiological significance has not yet been fully elucidated. There is evidence of involvement in the calcium metabolism of higher organisms. It is also enriched by some algae and sponges in the tissue.
Boron is consumed in the aquarium. Therefore, the boron concentration should be checked regularly in the laboratory. Targeted supplementation works best with our ultra pure boron supplement. For permanent care, we recommend our ATI Essentials.
