CLEAN anio is an effective anion adsorption medium made of granulated iron in a mixture of fine (500 μm) to coarse (4 mm) fractions.
The material primarily binds phosphate and silicate ions and can effectively reduce increased concentrations in the reef aquarium to a safe level. CLEAN anio supports the effect of the CLEAN carb activated carbon and reduces organic water stresses like gels. In addition, greatly increased concentrations of different traces of traces can also be removed. The applications for CLEAN anio are very versatile.
Due to the pronounced mixing grit, the material can be used without problems for short-term use, but also for continuous application, preferably in the fluidised bed filter.
