The HED SPS system is designed for reef aquariums with> 70% proportion of small polyp (SPS) stony corals in the total coral population, if you, as a carer, attach great importance to shiny metallic SPS colors with a light and pastel base fabric at the same time.

The composition and concentration of the organic active ingredients in the sango nutri-HED SPS # 1 has been specially tailored and optimized for the supply of SPS corals. The focus is on the quick uptake and processing of small-molecule micronutrients by the cared for corals, without creating too strong competition for bacteria and microbes.

The active ingredients used mainly work in the energy metabolism of small polyp hard corals. This means that the corals have enough metabolic energy available even in a radiation-intensive light environment in order to be able to fall back on sufficiently high energy reserves for tissue and skeletal growth (calcification) even when there is radiation stress.

At the same time, the corals have access to important organic raw materials for the synthesis of colored chromoproteins. The main focus of the HED SPS system is the long-term health maintenance and growth promotion of SPS corals in a radiation-intensive light environment with optimal color expression at the same time.

The positive effect on the general degradation of nutrients and the microbial organism and species diversity is also pronounced in the HED SPS system and offers all the ecological advantages that are characteristic of the SANGOKAI nutrient supply.

Before using the HED SPS system, the BASIS system should be established for at least six months in order to accustom the aquarium to the extensive supply of organic nutrients and to optimally develop all aquarium biological processes.
